I loved the movie! I loved that there was nothing to compare it to as I found any Harry Potter movie after The Chamber of Secrets to be offal! I was a bit confused to with all the American magic and would have liked more things to be explained. The death potion my brother said was like an acid that burned away the chair and victim. I think the reason it was like a pensive was to torcher the victim so that they would see their life flash before their eyes harsh! I still think having your soul sucked out would be worse still ouch! It is suggested that Ariana may have been an obscurus although this was not yet confirmed. According to the website below why this didn't effect Harry. "The child has to know about their magic in order to suppress it, though that’s why Harry Potter never developed an Obscurus. Harry was never told to suppress his magic, he was just told that magic didn’t exist."
