@Fluffy soldier, the ascii free version is the same as the normal version, just go into the options menu with option 3 and select the disable ascii option.
@Wastelander, breezing in to give the latest version a try. I love the throne room events, particularly being able to Jofry my way through kingdom management.
Two random things I did wonder, are firstly, is it always intended that you play as the kingdom of Aslona? or will you be able to enter your own kingdom name, and secondly any thoughts on balance the arena bets a bit? Since it's currently best to just spend ages in the arena winning all the gold each season, making it effectively an unlimited, but still rather grindy gold source.
While the arena is cool, as is the betting, it can get a bit much if that's your primary source of income, and since it does seem the bandits are a bit less extreme here, perhaps some limits on bets might work, especially given that throne room events also now get you
money.
One other thing I was wondering, is now we have a few more ways to manage the kingdom, if there could be a way of tracking how much your loved vs feared by your people. This is different from reputation, since people could both fear and respect you, or could love you as a kind ruler but see you as weak and inneffective.
Both being feared or loved could provide advantages and disadvantages, for example the more loved you arethe more you get recruitment bonuses and gifts, however the more people will die when yu lose raides since your people are more likely to fight to the last man, also being loved would reduce the amount of people who become bandits or join the rebels.
On the other hand, being feared could be more likely to cause rebellians and have people join the existing rebels, but equally could make your troops stronger in battle, (nothing like knowing they're going to be slaughtered by you if the enemy doesn't do it first).

s I also like the idea of perhaps having ways to influence love or fear, such as staging gorey executions of rebels, or of holding parades or festivals, or possibly being a good roman emperor and having lots of both, ---- bread and circuses .
