Do you mind not having your microphone built in? I know it is nice having it built in, but I am thinking that it might not be in your best interest in this case. For listening to audio, I have found that the Sennheiser HD 380 PRO is a good head phone for listening to audio and the like. Others can tell you what they think is a good microphone. From what I under stand, you would be looking for one that has good sound rejection, and you may be looking for one that connects via your USB port. Sorry I can not be to much help to you.
