Sorry for the spam, but I think I just figured out the problem. If you run the above executable and CHARM still fails to work for you, do this simple step which CHARM, in the next version, will ask to do automatically.
Open a cmd command prompt.
change into your system32 directory.
Type the following command:
lodctr /R
If you get a message similar to Successfully rebuilt performance counter setting from system backup store, CHARM should proceed to work fine!
Please tell me if this works!
