audio editing software on the Mac

Hello.
I'm looking for a program similar to GoldWave, that is accessible on the Mac.
I've tried Audacity and I'm not sure how to use it with VoiceOver, and I don't think GoldWave is available for Mac. If it is, I don't think it's accessible.
