How accessible is unity?

I posted several months ago a topic about accessible game engines for the mac. I have 2 questions about that.
First, does someone no how accessible unity is? I plan to download this game-engine. Second, If that isn't the case, where I can download the papa-engine? I heard it is on github, but I'm not sure. Greatings from germany.
