Re: Searching for a good multiplatform voice conferencing program
TeamTalk, works on windows and Mac PC's as well as on iOS devices. There's an Android version floating around but I've never heard of anyone getting it to work. The downside is that you'll have to either, A, set up a server for people to come and talk to you on, or, B, find another server where you and friends can create channels for yourselves. Regardless which of these two you end up going with, TeamTalk will allow you to do everything from chatting via voice and text, to sharing media files with other individuals and, should you care to set up a server of your own, to allow others to download said files. In addition to this, should you ever need it, you can create channels that are moderated/monitored, where only those who moderate or monitor are allowed to transmit voice on a regular basis while others must figuratively raise their hand to speak and can only do so when allowed by moderators. There's much more, If you are already interested you can check it out here.
