Re: Question about Winamp

I've also had similar problems with Winamp where for some reason the volume would occasionally drop when playing a new track. In my case though, it wasn't the volume mixer, it was the direct Sound plug-in. Switching the output plug-in to Wave Out and then back to Direct Sound fixed it, and I've never had that issue on Win10. Also, again I can't confirm this on 10, but when playing a midi file with the default Microsoft Wavetable synth, that used to lower the volume of some media players in the volume mixer.
