Android article #1: Rooting Samsung phone

My first article will be about rooting the Samsung device. If you will want to follow my further articles, you have to properly root your device, as I will be showing you stuff like custom ROMs, apps for making an SSH server from your phone and much more!
[h1]Prerequisites[/h1]
*The samsung device, of course
*USB cable
*Enabled developer mode, USB debugging and ADB, google on this if you need assistance or ask on the above email
*root package for your device, generally yyou have to google Samsung yourmodel - root

Remember that submodel is also very impor
tant, for example if I only knew that I have Samsung Galaxy s5neo, I could break something in my phone, I must know that I have Samsung Galaxy s5neo SMG903F
To check your submodel go to settings/about phone and you will find it.

[h1]Step1: preparing your phone[/h1]
To allow flashing custom packages into your phone, you have to reboot your phone into the download mode. here is how you do this
a: power off your phone
B: when you're sure it's powered off hold down home button, power button and volume down button. Hold them for about 10 seconds, release them and wait a while.
C: Press the volume up key.
D: Plug in the phone into your computer
[h1]Step 2: flashing! [/h1]
Now we are going to the most important part, make sure you have downloaded the proper root pac
kage, otherwise it could be the last thing you would do on your phone
A: launch odin3.exe file
B: You will see alot of buttons like BL, AP, CP, click on the AP button if you want to root
C: Browse to the downloaded .tar.md5 file or another archive
D: Click start, you will hear a progress bar
E: After it finishes alt tab of the odin's window and go back to it
F: Press insert B: if it says: restart, restart, restart you are probably done, just need to restart the phone by holding the power button
G: If you hear failed! it means you have screwed something up, make sure you have done all the steps properly

If there's a failed message, to get back to android from the download mode, you have to hold power, home and volume up keys till reboot.
