Just to be sure, after the experiments, I removed the unlicensed Eloquence for NVDA and restored my usual setting of having NVDA use SAPI which is set to use my Eloquence for Windows from Code Factory and the locking up after the intro sound returned along with the missing DLL error from Themedia.

Earlier I said that the Themedia DRM the Code Factory is using is only part of the problem. That is correct, because DMPA is also part of the problem. No other program that uses SAPI, including NVDA, causes any problems with the Themedia DRM.

My feeling at this point is that I shouldn't have to m odify my preferred system configuration just to run a game. I'll be more than happy to try this game out sometime in the future when it no longer requires that I change my system configuration just to run it.

For now there are other games to look at.

This is really great that you have taken the time to do some research to figure out what the problem is. I'm not the developer, but I'll still thank you a lot for doing that. It is great to know in generel for future research, and of course to hopefully get it fixed in DeathMatch in the future. I have no idea if Danny will be able to fix that or not. But it's so great to at leased know what causes this problem.
