If you don't mind sending images of documents with personal information to the cloud, that is your choice and maybe your personal privacy isn't a concern for you, but for me, the fact that KNFB Reader is fully self contained with no need for cloud services so what information I scan with it stays in my device is worth the $100 to me any day, at least with KNFB Reader I have some personal privacy. With this Seeing AI and other OCR apps that use cloud services to do the heavy lifting there is no privacy.
But, to each his own.
