I guess all I should really add is that I'm really impressed access wise with this title, the character select screen not only announces who you pick, but there are sound queues to let you know who you've highlighted.
I hope the next mk includes all this stuff.
One final thing, its possible to know if your special meter is full or not as well through small beeps.
