The major companies with the power to lock people out of the internet have taken sides in the Culture Wars. Since Audiogames.net is hosted by Cloudflare, I will say nothing else on that subject, other than that apparently the Youtube algorithms for blocking and demonitizing channels doesn't even make sense in that context.
Of course, when you have a platform whose selling point is the absence of witch-hunts, it will be used by about 5 Libertarians and 7 million witches. Of course, drug traffickers and sex offenders use public highways, too, so that isn't an argument so much as am unfortunate side-effect of living in a world which contains villains.
Also, there are things people might not want to let Google hold over them. Things like embarrassing medical conditions, or being interested in something they'd get kicked out of home over, or living in a country that violently suppresses descent. Rounding private communication off to gangsters and Nazis helps no
one, and does nothing to slow down the afore-mentioned villains.
