Re: audiogame jam 2.
What Joseph said! The purpose of a game jam is not to produce polished commercial products. It is to dedicate a short period of time (a tiny fraction of the time it would take to develop a full game) to trying something new.
The primary outcome is what the developers learn. The best possible lesson being that actually it's not quite so complex as they thought, and there's actually stuff that can be done in a short period of time. That's a great lesson to be able to take back to the day-jobs.
I've judged lots of game jams in the past. In any game jam, the games produced understandably don't hold up against commercial products. They're little experiments rather than fully fleshed out games.
I think them being posted here without a bit of context on what they are, how they were made and what they are for was a bit unfortunate, but hopefully it all makes sense now.
