Alter Aeon has pretty much everything you're looking for except forced RP and modern theme. The recommended Mush Z client filters out and turns a lot of text directly into sound, which can help you keep up in combat. You don't have to skill or level grind in the game, there's a ton of player channels you can talk on, there's a ton of players, and PK is registration only. You don't have to script things to do them lightning fast to survive.
The first handful of quests are designed to get new players on their feet and used to the game, and there's hundreds more quests and areas to explore as you progress. Some quests are simple, but there are also quests which may take many days to complete. We also have occasional system wide RP events, but these are rare as they take up a lot of time. The next one is in about two weeks for the 19th anniversary of the game.
