Re: teaching myself piano?

Ok sorry for bringing back an old topic, but I finally have a keyboard (the yamaha ypt-220, if it matters) which only has 61 keys, I've learned a few chords and notes and am trying to get used to the proper way of fingering. One problem I am having is when trying to quickly switch chords my fingers will often inadvertently slide off onto other keys and I can't reorient myself without feeling around and starting over. I've considered brailling it with the notes and numbers, but would probably get used to it and struggle on normal pianos. So, any suggestions? Also are there any freeware programs that will read sheet music?
