Unless others got ideas, you are "stuck."
Jaws 18 is the "minimum" for Edge to work "decently," and by default the setting to make it work at all isn't "on" within the "Quick Settings." (Insert-V.)
Best screen readers for Edge besides Jaws For Windows, include "Narrator" and "NVDA."
