Re: A Hero's Call: an Accessible Fantasy RPG from Out of Sight Games

hi guys, sorry for the long post. but i have a request to make, witch will help me and the devs allot.
I am performing various testing's on various systems, and simulating tests on lower /higher specked pc's.

I am beginning to think that some lag in certon areas may be caused due to certon pc specks, I am trying to do various testing's by simulating certon specks then to send the devs a detailed report.
not just about the errors.
but the pc speks as well as when the error was encountered. now, I need your help.  but if you guys would be so kind as to list your pc specks when a error is encountered, it, will help me when simulating test builds for pc's. here is a example of why I ask this, some 1 mentioned he/she had lag in the fair haven map. that is not happening on many pc specks that are fairly high specked. how ever, if it does happen, it may be few and far between,  so, I am trying to find out what the bottle neck is in pc specks, weather its being memory/hardrive speed/ CPU, so, Joseph, if you can actually mention witch part of the pc the game mostly would use, it will help allot with my simulations to see ware most errors will happen. and when it won't happen.
for example. it seems that to, help you guys track down certon errors. it mite actually have to do with pc specks, at times, rather then it being a out right bug.  so in other words, what I am trying to say is, I am finding that, with my simulations. certon errors are triggered or may be reproduced more often as to when playing on a higher specked pc. so we don't want you go fixing things that is not ` broken.
I hope my request makes sense. but to summarize. please, please give us pc specks when reporting errors if possible. in this forum, we can then start to perhaps build up a pattern. as to when or what caused it to happen.
while I am not a official tester on the devs team. I am doing more tests then they probably did on most pc's, :d :d.
no,  seriously guys. it would help allot. because then I can actually compile a more detailed report. I seem to be testing the game more then I am playing it, but it is my passion since, every bug the devs can know about, in detail and in context, can help them to get rid of it.

I could then for example tell them. a lag error is more likely to be encountered with 40% of pc's having say, a duel core pc, when playing the grave yard, and 10 % of pc's with 3 cores/ xxx amount of ram, only has 10%, lag of the smae error in the same map area, or, I can tell them. acording to 30 tests done on 30 lower end systems a 5400 rpm lapttop drive with a duel core pc is 30% more likely to cause lag in such and such area, so, thuss they mite, perhaps load more game in to meomory, if said pc has enough.
As i said, I have no idea how they utelise ram to hardrive usage. but the more data I can submit,  the better for future fixes.
I'd appreciate it, if you guys could help by giving, me an idea of the specks you are using.

I know that perhaps you guys cant always give that, so this is why I am trying to help out. by actually taking all the errors i see on this form, especially the ones pertaining to lag/ crashing, and testing them on various pc specked builds.
your help in this would be very much appreciated, so to wrap up. cpu speed, an make and type? hardrive name/size and if at all possible mottle number, this will instantly help me to find witch one you using. weather u playing on a laptop or desktop. if you are not able to  give me as much info, I can gather  if you tell me u using a duel core laptop. that  in 99% caces, u wil be using a 5400 rpm drive, so if you don't give me your hardrive make or size, I can use data to gather  that.
but any info you can give me, such as if you playing on laptop and CPU speed, is appreciated, any speck info you can give, will help alot. so i can run simulations.

oh and very important, how much ram you have. because for most users the pc has a paging file witch, is left active, so it does hit the hardrive from time to time.
