After entrapping all the bears in the bear traps run back to the left hand side of the level, where you started, taking care to jump over the bears as they are now essentially a death trap rather than a mob.
Once you arrive back where the first checkpoint was, your parachute should now work allowing you to fall to safety. grab all the goodies below and go to the teleporter on your left. don't bother going right, that's where the level portal is, but the teleporter gets you there much much faster than walking.
