Agreed, I'd love a guide on getting reaper to work. I'm also wondering if this might make my launchkey work, as currently on my win8 system when I plug it in, even though the driver is class compliant, it says driver error in device setting, but shows a composite device in device manager. It installs a composite device driver but no midi in devices show in qws.
This is a novation launchkey48 that works fine on win7. It only ever worked once on win8, and has not worked at all in win8.1.
