See, I'm a bit concerned here, because if you deploy a weapon carrier, you'll hear it shoot off in whichever direction, and if you wait long enough you should hear it come back to you as well. The fact that you haven't heard this makes me wonder if you've actually tried or not. Only deploy one carrier at a time though.
