I believe that there are a great many things we don't understand, and possibly will never understand. I also believe that most organized religion is humanity's attempt to both make sense of things and also control others to some degree.
Is there a God? I don't know. Why are we here? I don't know that either. Do ghosts exist? Possibly. What about psychic abilities and magic? Again, possibly. Maybe quantum physics will explain that stuff someday.
