I can't help but question the veracity that the app has over a billion users. What is the approximate count (Facebooks is 1.74 billion)? I just find it difficult to understand how an app can have 13.2 percent of the earths population when Facebook has 23.10 percent of it. That just seems.... difficult to believe... if Viber were so popular, I'd think the news media and other organizations would be jabbering about it as much as they do FB.
Update: OK. So it has over a billion "registered" users. "Registered users" and "active users" are different... so Facebook has over 2.32 billion (I keep getting conflicting results) monthly active users. Viber supposedly has over a billion. How much of those billion users are active?
