Alireza, the thing is, if person A has never released software, they have no standing one way or the other. You can't judge if they're trustworthy unless, for instance, they have a long history of trying to spread viruses or malware or the like. And if that turns out to be the case, you'd better believe someone will take the risk, get punished for it, tell the forum all about it, and then we'll deal with it. There's no good reason at this point to try and make malicious software and then spread it, because it's only going to result in prosecution under the community failure clause. But if what you're trying to say is that you're going to use a person's social reputation to judge whether or not they're trustworthy...that's sort of questionable at best. Past a certain point, people are simply not gonna jump through hoops in order to gain trust. They'll either get it or they won't, and after that, if they've gotten it, they'll either squander it or keep it. If you don't want to be part of that process, no one's going to make you be involved, but if that's your stance, kindly step aside and let other people handle it. This is precisely the sort of toxicity we want to squash. Remember that saying about how if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all? It applies here.
You'll note that this is -not an official moderation. It's just some advice from a fellow forum user. If you keep this sort of thing up, it will become official, and I don't want to have to do that. The project isn't even available for testing yet, so let's all of us just hold up before we start talking about mistrust and the like, okay?
