Programming for Android. Comparing Java and C#

Hello.
Guys, is there anyone here who has worked with both C# and Java?
Oh, no, don't think that this is another question about choosing a programming language for games. I made my choice earlier, this is C#. But...
I plan to develop a social network for the blind and visually impaired. And I'd like to do like on Facebook and other social networks. There is a website, and there are applications for Windows, Linux, Android, IOS, etc.
If you have worked with both C# and Java. How can you describe the difference between these two languages? Especially if you programmed on Android in these languages. Should I learn Java for Android, or are there other solutions?
Just if there is no other way out, and I need to learn Java, then I will leave C#, because it's better to focus on one thing.
Thanks in advance!
