If you are using NVDA, it could be an issue with that. We're working on a fix for it as we speak, as on my windows 8 pc witha more modern screen I was also experiencing this.
It is currently in the latest NEXT build of the snapshots if you'd like to try that, if not then you can wait for the next release version, which will definitely include a fix.
