So, despite India's obsession with English, the schools over here are very bad at teaching English. I never learned anything valuable from them, aside from learning grammer rules and regurgitating them during the exam, and then promptly forgeting about them.
So, I didn't learn English until I started to learn computer, since the lady who was teaching us the computer told us that it is important to learn what exactly the computer is telling you, rather than expecting everything would work same way.
At the same time, I started to watch anime which were used to be dubbed in Hindi, and were aired in India. since I already saw them in the Hindi, I started to understood English little by little.
After two years of using computer for entertainment and studying, my English was quite good enough. though even to this day, I have no understanding of the grammer rules. but it is still better than the people who took the specialized classes, and I am quite proud of my skill with it.
