Re: Trimps

@KeithWipf1, you're only getting started, I've been playing for weeks now. As for the map chamber, here's a run-down on how it works:

There are two main areas in the game: world and map. When you say you are at zone 7, that's in the world. A world has 100 squares, one ennemy per square. They get more and more difficult in the zone, the last ennemy is the boss and the most powerful one.

Maps let you farm or grind to get stronger to go back to fight in the world. This is because you will find eventually that the world is getting very slow to progress. I will not tell you why, I'll let you discover it, but you really should do maps. Heres how:

1. Click on maps a bit under the zone heading.
2. This will open the map chamber. You can either select maps and run it, you can see the maps you have under Select a Map. But you can create your own maps with fragments. You can see how many fragments you have under science. The map you create is random, but you can influence that randomness with fragments. You will see there is an edit field, this is the level of the map, usually you leave it to the level in there, it's the level matching your current zone. Then you have a slider for loot, this will affect the min and max loot modifier for the map you create. See the min and max value under the slider. When you create a map, the loot modifier of the map will be random between the min and max value. The higher you put the slider, the more you increase the min value of the modifier, making it more likely to have a good loot modifier when you create the map.

Then there is a slider for size, if you leave it at 0, the map will have between 25 and 75 squares, but you can make the max go down by increasing the slider.

Then there is the difficulty slider, increasing it will make it more likely to create a map where enemies are weaker.

Then there is a combo box for the biome. When you kill enemies in map, you will loot resources, if you want to loot a specific resource, you can change it. Seas will give you food, mountain will give you metal, forests for wood and depths for gems.

After you have selected your parameters, you can click create which is above the loot slider. It tells you how much fragments it cost and if you have enough a map will be created. Then you can select it and click run map to start farming it. I recommend setting the "repeat on" for the map to start over when you finished it. You will see the repeat option once you've started the map.

Also, map gives you items, you can see how many items right before running the map tongue
