That name business sounds quite believable, if rather depressing, though  after reading your translitaration I'm quite  impressed with Daniel's accuracy.

I wonder if Sebby is a more common short for the French version of Sebastian rather than the English one, that might make sense since I believe in Frenche  as in Italian the EE sound at the end of a name is more commonly a masculine rather than usually being a feminine one, though since my French is Abysmal I'm not  sure.

I can unfortunately well believe hassles with unfamiliar  names. A  friend of mine who is Russian said one of the fringe bennifits of getting married was no longer having to constantly spell her last name to people big_smile.
