Assaultfreak, the difference between the beta and the normal game is that the beta has a new character and a new map. You can not play online on the beta, and any achievements or badges you collect with it don't save over to the main copy. The normal one doesn't hat that new character or stage, but you can play online, and all your achievements andn such are saved.
