Re: C++ vs C#

I don't think C# is going anywhere anytime soon, and its capabilities are similar to those of Python in many respects. For example, both C# and Python can be augmented with C/C++ code. Languages can often be mixed and used together, and learning one will make it easier to learn others, for this reason its often considered to be better to pick a higher level language like C# or Python and focus on the fundamentals of programming logic rather than lower level specifics, like you would find in C++. Mind you, some people thrive on that sort of challenge.

At the end of the day, what matters is what your comfortable with, as you learn a language it'll be easier for you to move over to another one in the future.
