Are you saying that the idea of "Well, let's just give firearms to everyone, even if, during their next self defense incident, they end up slaughtering a ton of individuals while attempting to defend themselves against a single person" is a good idea? That sounds like a disaster just waiting to happen. Because that is what constitutional carry is: once this guy passes a background check, he gets a gun. It dosn't matter if he has no idea how to use it safely and ends up murdering his family because he misused it as a result.
