Re: the sound of magick , any news regarding the translation?
I am no developer of Everbyte studios and thus have no official answer to your question. I can however tell you that Sound of Magic had quite a big media attention for an indie audio game here in germany.
It has been covered by radio, tv and internet game magazines and a compareable big ammount of people from outside of the blind community stumbled across it. Half or even more of the apple store reviews (4.9 stars on average) are from sighted people. I don't really know how that translates into sales or even revenue but I hope they are more successful than they expected.
So long story short there should be no reason for them not to pursuit the localisation into english. Maybe they even have some extra money left to make it more professional and better than planed - that could take a while longer...
I am pretty sure that they don't check this forum regularly (if ever) so if you want an official answer you could write to
cont...@everbytestudio.com. In my experience they are quite responsive and helpful.
When this game gets its localisation I hope I'll somehow have the option to swap languages. I'd do another playthrough in english just to see how it's done
