Re: guitar music notation?

Actually, guitar tabliture can be printed in Braille, although I haven't seen this since I play using traditional sheet music, as many classical guitarists would tell you.
However, my understanding is that there are six lines, one for each string, and dots on the fret numbers to indicate which fingers would go on which fret.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by something that can read guitar music notation files. Are you talking about using an OCR programme, such as Neuratron's PhotoScore and NotateMe Ultimate to scan and recognise guitar tabliture?
