Re: iOS 13.1 is out.
I've noticed that Voiceover is more responsive in general, particularly when typing. In fact, it's taking me a bit of time to adjust to the fact that I can no longer keep my finger on the screen for as long as I used to. For example, I sometimes have trouble hearing the difference between v and b, and a couple of other letters, so I usually hesitate for that extra second or so to hear the phoenetic pronunciation to make sure I'm getting it right. I'm finding that I have to be quicker about it now, though, because it brings up that popup thing where it will start adding a bunch of extra letters otherwise. I'm not complaining, since more responsiveness is good, it's just different.
I definitely have started to notice extra battery drain, though. I opened Downcast a bit ago, and, while it usually does take a pretty good chunk of available power to refresh all of the podcasts I'm subscribed to, this time it went from 78% down to 19% while refreshing, which is not cool.
