Re: a suggestion for a new room
So I think thus:
1. A software room would be extremely useful, but.
2. This is an audiogames website. By that extent, and while I appreciate the mention in post 1, (respect!) I also believe that if your software is popular/good enough, people will be talking about it in the off topic room, and thus it will gain visibility anyway.
Luna RSS is a perfect example. When each version was released, it blazed through the off topic room with feature requests, and comments. Sure it has died down somewhat, but by the same token, if a new big release of the program came out, it would go back up again.
It's a great idea, but as someone else said, it may just be adding a cog to a machine not designed for this purpose.
It is a fantastic idea, though
