I've never used VIP MUD 1. For 2.0 however, there are two things you can do. You can either copy the link, download and extract the Zip, and copy the folders called Cosmic Rage and Sound, and paste them in the VIP MUD folder in your documents. Or, you can get added to the DropBox folder and use the pack installer. That thing is good for you.
