Re: Want to put your chiptune makeing to the test? lets go!
For me, sadly, MML is the only method I know to make chiptune stuff without being a professional or decent keyboardist at all, and personally, it takes me a long time to do stuff like remixes; I even tried to compose an original music, but in all my attempts I have failed due to the lack of immediate feedback. My musical ideas go away when I'm setting up things (instrument mmacros, volume envelopes, choose FM instruments). I know tools for watch the MML file exists (MuMML, MCKwatch, etc.) but keep recompiling and seeking the song to listen a specific part is tedious for me. There's some commands in compilers that if you put it to the head of a line, you jump directly to that part when you compile it. Yeah I'm rambling about other things. Now about BotB.
I've listened various songs by the artist and they are great. Even there's some articles regarding the use of specific trackers, MML compilers (ppmck is one of them), PMD, etc. But there's a CAPTCHA in the sign in page, without a possibility to access to an audio version of it. That was a year ago (IIRC) when I tried it. I don't know if that has changed. Maybe I'm more intimidated than @musicalman, who knows.
