I had a VIO for about two years now, and switched to a Toshiba. The VIO was slow, often times did not boot up within 3 minutes or less, and I would have to force shut down frequently. I wouldn't get one. I'd stick with the cheaper Tobisha or HP models, which are good for light use, which sounds like that's what you need.
