Rhythm games do not give transformation items. The person however was not wrong when they stated that was what you needed to do to get Symphonid.
Oh and also, I think Omer misunderstood you, because he gave you incorrect info about the mythic you seek. No spikes, no spikes! It isn't even that difficult from a map perspective, so that aught to make you happy.
