Kaspersky's secure screen became accessible
Hi guys,
Today, my Kaspersky total security 19 has upgraded to version 20, more concrete 20.0.14.1085 E.
I haven't read the news, but I was very gladly surprised to find out, that the annoying security pass screen, which you must confirm for example when trying to pause the protection or allow access to a site with broken ssl certificate has become accessible. Or at least passable, screenreader doesn't read anything, but you can confirm it using your return key, what was impossible before.
I don't know if it was a reaction to my ticket opened some time ago on the kaspersky support, or just coincidence, but it works and it's great, much much better than that terrible clicking which I needed to do before.
Thus I just wanted to let all of you, who use Kaspersky as well and have already resigned to the screen to give it another try, you might be nicely surprised.
For me this was the last step to declare Kaspersky completely accessible, now there isn't anything you couldn't do on your own, or at least I don't know about such function. Some controls like their famous directory trees are bit tricky to get used to, thus I'm still saying, that KTS would be a great screenreader training method, but I found a way everywhere.
I would like to hear also your response. For example, I still don't know if this is just case of Total security or also lower editions, that would be good to know.
Best regards
Rastislav
