Re: Manamon 2: Impressions Thread
Use power restoration can be bought in Sulee City with a suitable donation. Let me check and see if this was in the search feature.
so, yup. Search feature ahoy. Was like the third post down. Kai talking about the Sulee market inventory, it was right. bloody. there.
So guess what, my dude? I am never answering another question from you about this game. I won't tell you to use the search feature anymore, but I won't help you again either. No team-building advice, no item finding advice, no stats advice. But hey, no more pesky "use the search feature" toward you, personally. You're all done with that. I hope this answer has been to your satisfaction.
Make note, folks. If you ask a question that can be found easily with the search feature, found at
http://forum.audiogames.net/search
and I can easily dig up said answer, I will stop answering all questions about this game from you for good. Maybe others can take my example? Maybe this will get people to do some of their own research?
Remember, if your question really isn't covered with searching, that's fine. If it's a really detailed question that needs an explanation we haven't given or which is confusing, or something else, you don't have to worry about this. I, at least, am all too happy to help you if you're legitimately stuck or if reasonable efforts on your part have yielded no answers.
Frankly, the only people who have to worry are folks like Darren, who first had the audacity to try and report me for telling folks to use the search feature a couple of weeks back, then had the continued audacity to abuse goodwill and not do at least some of their own legwork. Yes, I know I said I'd let that report remain anonymous, but in light of continued questions (most of which could've been answered with searching) I decided to reverse my stance.
There are several forum users talking about making guides for this game. Someone has already made (or is well along in the process of making) an item guide. This thread is full mostly of people answering questions, and it's a hundred and thirty-eight pages long, twenty-five posts per page. That's...kind of a lot. If you ask questions that have very, very clearly been answered before, and it can be demonstrated that a quick search would've solved the issue? Well, for some of you, the issue of the search link not showing up was a legitimate problem before, but the link is everywhere now, and I make sure to drop it often so no one has an excuse anymore. Put bluntly: every question that could easily be answered on your own with a true minimum of effort is spitting in the faces of virtually everyone who's gone through the trouble of finding things out or answering the question before.
For reference, I will give you an example of a great question to ask, an iffy question to ask, and a bad question to ask, with brief explanations.
Good question: Who is the better sound type, Rythmond or Recobrah?
This is good because it's asking for details, and will probably provoke a decent explanation.
Iffy question: I'm stuck in (insert place name) and I don't know how to proceed please halp!
This is iffy because it's really hard to know where you actually are and what you're stuck on; it could go either way.
Bad question: Where do I find black matter husks?
This is bad because you could search and get the answer, and there's a whole freaking guide explaining that whole process. Many of these questions that would now be pointless were fine, like, a week after the game came out and most of us were still figuring stuff out. But now that the info is there, go use it. A refusal to do so it just disrespecting those who have done all the research.
