True dat, it was quiet. Do you get chat sounds or something that let you know when new ones come in? Or were you just going based on previous activity and viewer count.
For the types, I think most make sense, but if you can't remember them to know what moves are best, maybe keep the type manual open in the other window. It may take a few extra seconds at first but after a while it may become natural anyway.
To be fair, you didn't skip the most important dialogues either, but it's still nice to know what the tamers say when defeated and afterwards, and it doesn't really speed things up significantly by skipping them.
New creature descriptions though... That's really important IMO, not just for the interesting content but also for type clues.
As for chests... I'm not one of the people who gets upset about you missing those, because I also have some hearing issues (though not as bad as yours) and I get it.
