using cheat engine on the blood rain, need a step guide on how to do i

I downloaded cheat engine, but can't figure out what to do to increase health / money. What I want to do is the following:
increase health and number of clips for pistol / machine-gun. Start with a lot of money and shields. If someone knows or has done this before, a step by step guide would be great. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
