Re: Bloodbath released!
Moderation:
This is the holidays. People are around a bit less than otherwise they would be.
I'm not sure if you folks saw the bit in the community failure clause about how we'd try and agree on things? Yeah, well, that does matter.
The list has been pretty quiet lately.
I agree completely that we need to be consistent. As far as I am personally concerned, everyone who is on watch and gets a warning deserves a ban. We made the ruling and need to stick to it, in my opinion.
To me, this is not necessarily a case of inconsistency.
I think that sometimes, you folks might do to be a bit more patient. Just because one staff member came in doesn't mean that an overall verdict is going to be reached in x number of hours. The time between Redfox's original post and now is not all that great. Now, with Moonwalker and Audiogame, I can't help you there, as I think that particularly in Audiogame's case, a ban should have just been handed out so we'd have done with it.
To clarify:
1. Just because we don't reach a conclusion as fast as you'd like doesn't mean we haven't reached it or are not trying to deliberate
2. We are not playing favourites, and don't appreciate being told otherwise
3. The community failure clause being invoked means that some level of deliberation has to be reached before action is taken, even if that action was agreed on; we want to be sure before banning someone and invoking that clause
4. This is reiterating the point that nothing we do is right; it's kind of disheartening to see this much pouncing this soon after a problematic post
For heaven's sake, please let us do our job. We don't need you folks to tell us how. Report it and call it good. Either you trust us to do the job, or you don't. Apparently right now you don't.
