I'm doing better there, but I had to put 97 points into high armor, and 30 into speed, to get to 91% protection so I can finally not take tons of damage. The down side, of course, is that I can't upgrade any weapons, as I'm only level 128. Still, the AA12 is insanely powerful even at this level, as is the AK, so it's not as bad as I expected.
