Re: Forum Creation from Scratch
PHP is mostly used to produce frontend stuff as well however. PHP was designed to be the one and only language to do both at the same time; distribute frontend stuff while maintining backend compatibility and do all the data management work for you. Modern fullstack applications tend to go the aforementioned way of providing a frontend in whatever language and framework you like (Angular with TypeScript/_javascript_, React or whatever) and a backend (based on a REST API) in whatever language you like again. People prefer Java here (you can use already-available server systems like WildFly from JBoss), but Python offers Swagger as REST API provider which works quite nicely as well, and there are solutions available for almost any language, you can even use C# and derivates for that purpose if you so desire.
