I read, that on the Microkorg-S there's a setting in the global menu to turn speakers off and you have probably hit that, but still, usually global settings need to be saved to become permanent, otherwise they revert back when the synth is turned off and back on again. Anyway, nothing is probably broken, simply an unintended change of a setting that should be easily reversable.
