Re: Are any SBYW servers still active?
My server is still running. Choose Chris from the server list or use christopherw.me port 19898 to connect manually. The only other server that's still active is called someone. There may be more, but they're not in the server list, so unless you know the connection details, you're out of luck.
The server application sometimes crashes, but I've made an effort to keep mine running 24/7, so even if it crashes, it'll probably be down for a few hours maximum. I haven't configured it to restart itself, so I have to manually go in and turn it on again.
I've got a question about the server. Is voice chat broken? It doesn't work on my server, and running a fresh copy of the server on my local computer doesn't fix things. I assume this functionality is broken for good?
As far as I know, Mason is done with games in general. Apparently he stopped hosting the SBYW server because it was using too many resources, which I don't understand at all. I run it under Wine on Linux, and it's fine aside from the occasional crash.
