I'm afraid I have the same question I had as the last time someone created their own games forum, and the time before that, and the time before that and the time before that, and the time before that too.
when we already have this forum for game discussion, plus the audeasy list, plus places like applevis and the Android eyes free mailing list and probably a bunch of others, not to mention most every mud and online game having it's individual forum.
What exactly does this particular forum offer members that isn't available somewhere else?
Also, frankly why would someone want! to run a forum anyway?
People have the strange idea that being an administrator/moderator is some sort of privilege.
Trust me, it isn't. It's a job that needs doing, frequently a hard, dirty and thankless job where you get flack from all and sundry , I personally did it for far too long and really wouldn't want to do it again.
So, unless there is some really, really really! major need your forum is fulfilling, which necessitates you having to do the unpleasant task of trying to moderate it, my personal advice would be to steer well clear.
Again, if people fancy another games forum and Jaidon fancies trying to keep it inline, fair enough and good luck, but I will say when this has been tried, as it has quite a number of times in the past, it has not worked out well for either the people populating the forum, or the potential staff members either.
